ST. LOUIS, Mo. – A late Maryville goal broke a scoreless deadlock and gave the Saints a 1-0 win over Drury on Sunday afternoon in St. Louis, Missouri.
The Panthers fell to 3-2-3 and 1-2-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Maryville improved to 3-4-1 and 3-2 in the league.
Neither team scored until the 84
th minute when the Saints broke through on a goal by Bryce Gilsson, his third of the season. Yayo Mutombo had the assist. Maryville had a 17-8 advantage in shots and led in shots on goal, 6-3.

Camden Meyer (3-2-3) kept the Panthers in the contest and made five saves, while three goalkeepers split time for the Saints with Asgrimur Vidisson getting the win as he played the entire second half.
The Panthers are back at home next weekend and begin a two-game homestand against Indianapolis on Friday at 7:30 pm in Harrison Stadium.
