BOLIVAR, Mo. – Drury women's soccer drew with Southwest Baptist on Friday evening, 1-1, to end the regular season with a 9-2-6 record.
Drury had the first chance to score as
Anna Harris took her first career penalty kick, but missed just wide. SBU quickly responded, pressuring Drury's defense with two shots in the 15th minute, both saved by
Katy Fitzler. The Bearcats scored first in the 24th minute on a Tamerra Gantt goal.
In the second half, Drury increased offensive pressure, taking three shots—two on target—in the first 90 seconds. The Panthers controlled most of the possession except for a few SBU counterattacks. Drury forced SBU's hand in the final 10 minutes: in the 82nd minute,

Elena Perez scored from a free kick outside the 18-yard box to tie the match. Drury had two more shots in the last six minutes but did not score again.
