SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury women's soccer opens the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 9, at Quincy for a noon kickoff.
Drury and Quincy have met once already this season in Quincy, resulting in a 1-0 Drury win.
Holland Hawkins scored the lone goal in the earlier meeting with an assist from
Grace Pohl. During the Oct. 17 meeting, Quincy was sitting atop the GLVC standings without a conference loss. Since that meeting, Quincy is 2-1-2 and Drury is 2-0-3.
The quarterfinal match will be streamed live on the GLVCSN.
SERIES HISTORY VS QUINCY
- Drury and Quincy are meeting for the 27th time.
- This will be the third meeting in the postseason between the Panthers and Hawks.
- In the postseason, Drury is 1-0-1 against Quincy.
- The tie came in the 2012 GLVC Tournament, where Quincy won ok PKs 2-0.
- This season, Drury beat Quincy 1-0 on the road behind a Holland Hawkins goal from Grace Pohl.
- The Panthers are 4-7-2 all-time while playing Quincy at Legends Stadium in Quincy.
- Justin Olson is 4-0-2 against the Hawks since being named the Drury head coach in 2020.

- Drury enters play on a ten-match unbeaten streak, dating back to Oct. 3 against Illinois Springfield.

LOOKING AHEAD
The winner of the Drury at Quincy match will meet the winner of the Missouri S&T at Missouri-St. Louis' match in the semifinal. The semifinal will take place at Creve Coeur Park in St. Louis with a 4 pm kickoff.
