SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury track and field opens its 2025 season on Friday, Dec. 5, at the Crimson & Gold Invitational hosted by Pittsburg State, followed by the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic on Saturday, Dec. 6, at Northwest Missouri State.
The Panthers start the indoor season at the Crimson & Gold Invitational, where they will compete in the 5K on Friday evening. On Saturday, Drury continues competition at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic.
After winter break, Drury returns to action at the WU Rust Buster on Jan. 16, hosted by Washburn in Topeka, Kan. The Panthers then head back to Pittsburg State for the Rumble in the Jungle on Jan. 23 and the Pittsburg State Invitational on Jan. 31.
Moving into February, Drury travels to Northwest Missouri State for the Bearcat Invite on Feb. 6, before concluding the regular season at the 11th Annual Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic hosted by Pittsburg State on Feb. 13.
Championship season begins on Feb. 27 at the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Indoor Track and Field Championships in Indianapolis. The NCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships take place on Mar. 13 in Virginia Beach, Va.
The outdoor season is set to begin on Mar. 20 at the Miner Invitational hosted by Missouri S&T. The following weekend, the team heads to Bolivar for a meet at Southwest Baptist.
The Panthers stay in Springfield for a meet hosted by Missouri State on Apr. 8. Drury wraps up the regular outdoor season at Central Missouri on Apr. 11, followed by one final trip to Pittsburg State on Apr. 18.
Looking ahead to May, the championship season kicks off with the GLVC Outdoor Championships on May 1, hosted by Lewis in Romeoville, Ill. The track season concludes at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships on May 22 in Eugene, Ore.
In the GLVC Indoor Track and Field Preseason Poll, the Drury men's track and field program was picked to finish sixth out of 13 teams, while the women were picked eighth out of 14 teams.
Drury returns three all-region athletes for the 2025-26 season. Cross country record-breaker Tyler Harris is set to compete in distance events, while senior Nolan Moeller returns to compete in the middle-distance events. Nixa, Mo. native Amelia White also returns for sprint and field events.
Head coach Luke Karamitros returns in his third year leading the track and field programs, joined by assistant coaches Brock Voth and Ben Dodson.
