HOLLISTER, Mo.— Drury finished 12
th at the Ozarks National Invitational, hosted by Missouri State at the Ozarks National Golf Course in Hollister, Missouri, on Wednesday. The Panthers had their best round of the event on the final day by 19 shots as they posted a team score of 311, the seventh best score in the third round, and finished the tournament 110-over par in the 54-hole event.
South Dakota State won the tournament with a +33 in the 13-team field. South Dakota was second (+40), and Texas-El Paso finished third (+52).
Grace Stafford had Drury's best round of the tournament as she posted a 2-over par 74 on Wednesday. The junior from Wildwood, Missouri, finished tied for 32
nd in the 78-player field with a 24-over par 270.
Isabelle Thrall came in 52
nd, shooting a +28, 244, while
Jade Carter and
Taryn Overstreet tied for 57
th with a 29-over par 245.
Hope Tuttle came in 74
th (+49, 265).
Piper Stubbs from South Dakota State won individual medalist honors, finishing with a four-over par 220.
Drury's team returns to action March 31-April in the Lewis Spring Invitational in Wheaton, Ill.
