4/26/2026 5:07:00 PM

INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA released its 2026 field for the division two women's golf regionals on Sunday, April 26. Drury's Grace Stafford earned an at-large bid as an individual to the East Region.

The regional will take place at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio. The three-round tournament will start Monday, May 4, with one round played a day until Wednesday, May 6.

Stafford is one of six individuals who made the field. The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) had half of the six individuals earn a bid. Illinois Springfield's Elaine Grant and Quincy's Lily Vardaman will represent the GLVC with Stafford. There are 18 teams competing, five of which are from the GLVC.

This season, Stafford averaged 79.08 strokes across her 26 rounds played. Her best finish came in the GLVC Championships when she finished in 12th, shooting 18-over par across three rounds.

Last season, Stafford was a part of the Drury team that finished 15th in the regional. She shot 26-over par to finish 57th, in a field of 105 golfers. The last individual to qualify for Drury was Taryn Overstreet in the 2024 season; she finished tied for 19th.

All teams will compete over 54 holes across three days. The top five teams and two individuals not on an advancing team will advance to the NCAA National Championship, set for May 12-16 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
