,INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA released its Division Two outdoor track and field championship qualifiers on May 13.
Nolan Moeller earned a bid in the 800-meter run.
This is the second consecutive season that Moeller has earned a bid to the national meet in the 800. Last season, Moeller became the first Drury all-American in men's outdoor track and field. He finished sixth in 2024 with a 1:51.57. Moeller's appearance in the 2024 800-meter final was the first time that any Drury male qualified for an outdoor track and field final.
This season, Moeller punched his ticket to the national meet with a time of 1:48.79 at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific. That time puts him at 13th in the nation entering the national championships. Moeller qualified last year with the 17th best time in the country with a 1:49.69.
Moeller's 800 time at the Bryan Clay Invitational (1:48.79) set a new record for Drury men's outdoor track and field.
Colorado State-Pueblo's Reece Sharman-Newell holds the top 800-meter time this season with a 1:46.50, followed by Indianapolis' Josue LeCadre with a 1:46.79 and Pueblo's Emil Meggle at 1:47.49.

"I am extremely proud of Nolan's efforts and can't wait to see what he can do on the national stage once again," said Drury track & field head coach
Luke Karamitros. "Achieving this feat in back-to-back years is no easy task. This National Championship is set to feature the fastest 800-meter field in D2 history, so for Nolan to rise to the occasion once again is something to celebrate and be truly proud of."
