SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury University's men's lacrosse program is excited to announce the addition of a dynamic freshman class of nine student-athletes who bring both heart and skill to the field.

#40 Ghulam "Dean" Din – Defense (Susan E. Wagner HS, Staten Island, N.Y.)
A spirited defender with solid stick skills, excellent footwork, and tireless energy. Coach Rich sees him as a major asset to an already strong defensive lineup.

#30 Andrew Zaragoza – Defense (Rockhurst University HS, Olathe, Kan.)
Known as "Z," he carries a positive attitude and readiness to improve—an exemplary addition to the defense.

#24 Alonzo Williams – Midfield (Ladue HS, St. Louis, Mo.)
A highly athletic, coachable box-to-box midfielder who works as hard as any teammate.

#19 Killian Swords – Attack / Midfield (Walnut Grove HS, Prosper, Texas)
A lacrosse intellect with confidence, poised for breakout success. A team-oriented player eager to compete at the collegiate level.

#23 Dylan Donegan – Attack / Midfield (Vernon-Verona-Sherrill HS, Sherrill, N.Y.)
An enthusiastic offensive presence, ready to add personality to the field and thrive in the team's system.

A reliable team-first goalie, highly coachable—providing vital support in the cage.

#0 Sam Ottiger – Goalie (Vianney HS, House Springs, Mo.)
A "program-changing" presence in goal. Coach Rich anticipates many wins with him as the backbone of the defense.

#10 Charlie Knight – Defensive Midfield (Lebanon HS, Lebanon, Mo.) – Walk-On
A freshman walk-on with no prior lacrosse experience, quickly learning both the game and the team's defensive systems. Coach Rich foresees him developing into a strong player over time.

#21 Drew Henslee – Defensive Midfield (Marshfield HS, Marshfield, Mo.) – Walk-On
Another walk-on whose positive attitude and enjoyment of practice mark him as a great locker-room addition. Poised to grow into a valuable contributor.

Coach's Insights

Coach Rich emphasizes that this freshman class brings more than just raw talent: they offer energy, coachability, and a shared dedication to lifting the team's standard. From Din's defensive hustle to Sam Ottiger's mindset in the goal, each player adds a distinct element of depth and character.
