ROLLA, Mo. – Drury women's soccer picked up their first Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) win of the 2025 season on the road against Missouri S&T, 3-1.
Drury opened aggressively, firing two shots in the first five minutes. A penalty on the Miners gave
Holland Hawkins a penalty kick in the 11th minute, which she missed. However, Hawkins later scored in the 25th minute after receiving a pass from
Caroline Dinnon.
The Miners would respond two minutes later to knot the game up at one.
The Panthers' aggressiveness would continue into the second half with a fast break goal from
Elena Perez in the 47th minute, assisted by
Anna Harris.
Drury put the game on ice in the 81st minute with a
Keira Love goal from Hawkins.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Hawkins' goal was her first of the season. She led Drury last season with 11.
- Elena Perez's goal was the second of the season. Two goals in a season set a new single-season high for Perez.
- Keira Love's goal was the third of her career, the second of the season.
- The freshman, Caroline Dinnon, assisted on the Hawkins goal. It was Dinnon's first college point.
- Anna Harris also recorded her first collegiate point on the assist to Elena Perez.
- The win improves Drury to 17-4-7 all-time against Missouri S&T.
- The unbeaten streak for the Panthers against S&T extends to eight, 6-0-2.
- Under Justin Olson, Drury now has a +9 goal differential against S&T.
- Holland Hawkins recorded three points in the match. A season high for any Drury player.
