DESTIN, Fla. – Drury women's golf finished 16th at the Emerald Coast Collegiate to open their 2026 spring season in Destin, Florida.
No. 6 UT Tyler won the entire three-round event, shooting +7 as a team. No. 18 St. Mary's (+18) and No. 10 Flagler (+27) rounded out the top three. Drury shot +97 as a team in the field that had 11 teams ranked inside the top 50.
UT Tyler's Lucy Kate Smith was the only player to finish under par. She shot one under. Sydney Moss (Mississippi College) and Millie Thompson (West Florida) both shot even to round out the top three.
Grace Stafford was the top Drury player; she shot +12 over the three rounds, including an even in the third round. She finished tied for 29, one spot ahead of Susana Granados Carrion (Washburn), the 72nd-ranked player in NCAA Division II.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Drury improved their round total each round, shooting 325 in round one, 315 in the second round, and 309 in the final round.
- Three of the five Panthers that played in the event shot their best round in the third round: Grace Stafford (71), Jade Carter (75), and Avery Basler (82).
- Grace Stafford had 10 birdies over three rounds, the fifth most in the field.
- As a team, Drury had 23 birdies.
