SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury wrestling head coach
James Reynolds will not return for an 11th season, Vice President and Director of Athletics
Nyla Milleson announced Tuesday.
"Coach Reynolds and his staff represented Drury with integrity and professionalism during his 10 years leading our wrestling program," Milleson stated. "We appreciate the foundation he helped establish and the impact he made on our student-athletes, and we wish him and his family the best."
During his tenure, Reynolds coached seven national qualifiers and guided two who earned multiple All-America honors. Under his leadership, the Panthers recorded their best season finish in 2025, posting a 6-7 dual record.
Drury went 2-13 during the 2025-26 season and produced one national qualifier. Reynolds compiled a 35-74 dual record during his time with the Panthers.
Reynolds has led the Panthers program since its inception in 2016, serving as the team's first head coach after previously working as an assistant at Maryville.
A search for the next leader of Drury's wrestling program will begin immediately.
