INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) has announced its week three Athletic Solutions Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, with Drury's Katy Fitzler earning Defensive Player of the Week recognition.
 
The senior goalkeeper from O'Fallon recorded two shutouts last week, totaling nine saves across a 1-0 win over Illinois Springfield and a 0-0 draw at Missouri-St. Louis.
 
This marks the third Defensive Player of the Week honor of Fitzler's career and her first of the 2026 season. McKendree's Aubrey Andrews was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week after recording a hat trick against Upper Iowa.
 
With her two shutouts, Fitzler now has 26 career shutouts, the third most in Drury program history and the fourth most among all active NCAA Division II goalkeepers.
 
Fitzler and the Panthers return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 16, traveling to McKendree for a 5 p.m. matchup.
