INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced its Athletic Solutions Cross Country Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. Drury's Cera Eckenroth earned the GLVC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honor for her performance at the Queen City After Dark.
 
A junior from Albuquerque, N.M., Eckenroth led the Panthers at the Queen City After Dark in Springfield. Eckenroth won the 5K with a program-record mark of 17:06.0, finishing 31 seconds ahead of the runner-up. The race featured 159 athletes, including competitors from Division I Missouri State. The Panthers placed third among 13 teams overall.
 
The weekly honor is the first of Eckenroth's career and Drury's first since Bradley Weimer earned the award in 2022.
