SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury and McKendree renew their rivalry Wednesday, Sept. 16, in a rematch of last season's GLVC Final.
 
McKendree owns the most wins of any GLVC team this season with six victories in seven games. Drury has just one win but sits one point behind the Bearcats in the conference standings.
 
The match will stream on GLVCSN. Single-game passes are $15, monthly passes $32, and annual passes $145. Drury students can receive 10 percent off any pass using their university email and code GLVC@EDU27.
 
SERIES HISTORY

• Wednesday marks the 23rd meeting between the programs. McKendree leads the all-time series 10-9-3.
• Drury opened the rivalry 8-1-0, but McKendree has won nine of the last 13 meetings.
• Under head coach Justin Olson, Drury is 1-6-2 against McKendree.
• Matches under Olson have featured 18 yellow cards and one red card between the teams.
• Despite the record, Drury has spoiled both a GLVC title run and a perfect season for McKendree under Olson.
• In last year's GLVC Final, the teams played scoreless through regulation and two overtimes. In the shootout, Anna Harris, Leah McDonald and Keira Love converted for Drury, while goalkeeper Katy Fitzler stopped the final three McKendree attempts to secure the championship.

 
STORYLINES

• Wednesday's matchup features the reigning GLVC Players of the Week. Fitzler earned Defensive honors after two shutouts and nine saves, while McKendree's Aubrey Andrews scored four goals, including a hat trick against Upper Iowa.
• Fitzler's two shutouts last week moved her to 26 career, ranking third in program history and fourth among active Division II goalkeepers. 
• Drury is still searching for a consistent scorer. Its three goals this season have come from three different players: Love, Melissa Higgins and Carly Swan.
• The Panthers are seven wins away from reaching 300 in program history.
• McKendree enters on a two-game winning streak after its lone loss, a 2-1 setback to Quincy on Sept. 6.
• In six victories, the Bearcats have outscored opponents 15-2.
• McKendree is off to its best start since 2024, when it opened 7-0-0 before losing to Drury 2-0 at home.
• Goalkeeper Peyton Baker anchors the Bearcats' defense with a 0.764 goals-against average and an .833 save percentage.
• Maddie Mauch leads the GLVC with six goals, ranking sixth nationally, and tops the country in game-winners with four.
