EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Panthers bounced back from a loss Friday night to win 3-0 at Southern Indiana on Saturday at the Physical Activities Center in Evansville, Indiana.
Drury improved to 17-9 and 8-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Southern Indiana dropped to 9-16 and 3-10 in the league.
The Panthers won the opening set 25-20, then cruised to a 25-15 win in the second. Drury trailed 21-19 in the third set and fought off a set-point from the Screaming Eagles at 25-24 to win the set 27-25.
Tori Foster had 13 kills to lead the Panthers while
Brooke Antenen had 22 assists, 3.5 blocks and a service ace.
McKenna Poynter had 15 digs for Drury while
Abbey Bart added 13. Drury had 11 blocks in the match to Southern Indiana's three.
The Panthers will be home for the first time since Oct. 8 for their next game. Drury hosts McKendree on Friday at 7 p.m. in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
