SIOUX FALLS, SD – The Drury wrestling team went 0-4 at the Augustana Duals on Saturday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota but Jacob Brune, wrestling at 174 pounds, won three of his four matches at the event.
 
The Panthers lost to 21^st ranked Augustana 26-17, 23^rd ranked Nebraska-Kearney 40-3, Northwestern (Iowa) 25-17 and Southwest Minnesota State 38-3 in the four duals.
 
Brune, a freshman from Jefferson City, started his day with a 5-2 win over Lukas Polonic of Augustana. His only loss came in his second match as he dropped a 2-0 decision to Zach Stodden of Nebraska-Kearney. Brune came back to win his next two matches as he defeated Brandon Shuler of Northwestern 8-2 and Griffin Osing from Southwest Minnesota State 4-3.
 
The matches were Drury's first duals of the season.
 
The Panthers return to action on Dec. 16-17 at the Midwest Classic tournament hosted by Indianapolis University.
