OZARK, Mo.- Drury won twice on Saturday with a 6-5 win over Winona State and a 5-0 shutout of Sioux Falls in the second day of the Panthers round-robin tournament at U.S. Baseball Park in Ozark.

The Panthers rallied from a 5-0 deficit in the last three innings to beat Winona State 6-5. Drury scored three runs in the seventh inning and tied the game with two runs in the eighth.

Clayton Engel delivered the Panthers game-winning run with a single that drove home
Caleb Essick from second base.

Essick went 2 for 4 with a run and two RBI's for Drury.

Alex Austin pitched a seven-hit shutout against Sioux Falls in Drury's second game. The junior from Springfield-Glendale struck out seven and allowed two walks as he improved to 1-2.

Drew Newson went 3 for 3 for Drury with a home run, a triple and three RBI's.

Drury improved to 3-0 in the weekend event and 3-6 overall. Winona State and Sioux Falls both fell to 0-5.

The Panthers wrap up play in the tournament on Sunday as they take on Sioux Falls at 2:30 p.m.
