SPRINGFIELD, Ill.- The Illinois Springfield Prairie Stars rallied from two sets behind to snap 10th ranked Drury's 10-game winning streak with a 3-2 win over the Panthers on Saturday in Springfield, Illinois.

Drury fell to 14-3 and 7-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference while Illinois Springfield moved into a first-place tie with the Panthers as they also went to 7-1 in the league and 13-4 overall.

Drury won the first two sets with a 25-21 win in the opening set and a 25-19 victory in the second. The Prairie Stars took the third set 25-22 and held off the Panthers to win the fourth 25-23. Drury could not overcome a 9-2 deficit to start the decisive fifth set and fell 15-10.

Kendra Sater registered a triple-double for Drury, the first of her career, as she posted 14 kills, a team-high 46 assists, and 14 digs.
Emmalee Chrest led the Panthers in kills with 19 while
Bree Schmidt had 31 digs and
Taylor Forth contributed six block assists.

Brianna Bush led Illinois Springfield with 19 kills.

Drury's loss forges a three-way tie for first place in the GLVC with the Panthers, Prairie Stars, and Rockhurst Hawks all even with 7-1 conference records.

The Panthers return to their home court on Tuesday to face Missouri S&T in the GLVC match. Game time is at 7 p.m. in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
