SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—
Paul Porcher posted a clinching 7-5, 6-3 victory at number five singles to give the 19
th ranked Drury men's tennis team a 4-3 victory over Northwest Missouri State on Sunday at Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
In doubles action Drury captured a very important match point by winning 6-3 and 6-4 at the two and three spots in the Panther lineup.
Joining Porcher with singles wins today were
Sylvain Garin-Michaud at the two spot with a 7-5, 7-6 edging over Franco Oliva and
Gregor Kokalj with a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 4.
The Panthers stay perfect at 9-0 while Northwest Missouri State fell to 3-1.
Up next for the Drury men's tennis team will be a match next Saturday vs. Washington University (Mo.) with first serve set for 2:30 p.m.
