INDIANAPOLIS – Drury's six-match win streak ended in the GLVC Championship on Sunday morning with a 4-0 loss to Indianapolis.
- Indianapolis took the first and third doubles line 6-4 to go up 1-0 on Drury.
- Asier Ayllon Prado swept Chuy Gonzalez on the top singles line 6-1, 6-1 to extend the Greyhound lead.
- On the sixth line, Lorenzo Di Cursi won in straight sets to bring Indianapolis within one point of clinching.
- The clinching point for Indianapolis came on the fourth line. Tristan Stock won the first set 7-5 before falling 2-6, 1-6 to Jovan Matovic.
- Chuy Gonzalez and Matthieu Gachon were both named to the all-tournament team.
UP NEXT
The Panthers will wait to see if they earn an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II regional. Selections will be announced on Monday, May 4. Entering the week, Drury was ranked seventh in the region; the top eight teams earn a spot.
