BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Drury's season came to an end following a 4-1 loss to Ferris State in the Midwest Regional Two Semifinals on Monday morning in Michigan.
- Ferris State jumped out to a 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point. The Bulldogs won the first and third lines.
- Drury's Matthieu Gachon and Chuy Gonzalez were able to win the second doubles line 6-4.
- The Bulldogs extended their lead on the fourth singles line.
- Drury took their only point of the match on the third singles line. After dropping the first set, Marco Romano won the final two sets to get the win.
- Ferris clinched the match after wins on the sixth and second singles lines.
- The win for Ferris was their first win over Drury in the national tournament in program history, 4-1.
- The season ends for Drury after making the national tournament for the fourth straight season.
- All-time in the national tournament, Drury falls to 54-27.
The Panthers season comes to an end with a 13-7 record and a GLVC West Division Title.
