Lamont, Ill.— The Drury Panthers moved up four spots in the second and final round of the Flyer Intercollegiate Tournament hosted by Lewis University to finish 12
th among 19 teams.
Drury's total score improved by 10 shots on Tuesday from their opening round to finish, with a total of 632 (+56) in the 36-hole event at the Cog Hill Dubsdread Course in Lamont, Illinois. Bellevue won the tournament shooting a +5, 581. Cedarville and Roosevelt tied for second place (603, +27).

Tony Brandt led the Panthers as both turned in a score of 12-over-par, 156 to finish tied for 42
nd among 108 golfers.
Walker Tynes shot a 15-over-par, 159, to tie for 60
th, and
Chase Gafner shot a 78 on Tuesday to finish with a +18, 162, and in 72
nd place.
Cooper Hess was 12 shots better in Tuesday's round as he turned in a 78 to finish 24-over-par (168) and came in 84
th.
Phasin Vichitcharoenpaisarn from McKendree won the tournament with a one-under-par 143 and took the championship by two strokes.
Drury returns to action next week in the Midwest Fall Regional at Fox Run in Eureka, Missouri, Oct. 11-12.
