SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury wrestling team is ranked 15
th in this week's NCAA-II coaches' poll, and the Panthers have two wrestlers ranked in the top 12 nationally in individual rankings. The poll by the National Wrestling Coaches Association is the second in-season poll this year.
St. Cloud State is ranked number one in Division II wrestling for the second straight week, while Nebraska-Kearney is ranked second, and Lindenwood moved into third.
The Great Lakes Valley Conference has five teams ranked in the top 25. In addition to Drury and Lindenwood, McKendree is ranked fifth, Indianapolis is tied for 10
th, and Maryville is tied for 19th.
DU wrestler
Jared Rennick, a senior from Washington, Missouri, is the third-ranked heavyweight in the nation at the D-II level, while
Peter Kuster, a junior from Jefferson City, is ranked fifth at 141 pounds. Both are 4-0 this season, and both moved up two notches in the individual rankings from the previous poll.
Drury returns to action tomorrow with GLVC duals at McKendree. The Panthers will take on Davenport to start the day, then face fifth-ranked McKendree to conclude the afternoon.
