KANSAS CITY, Mo.— Drury bounced back from their first-ever loss in the Great Lakes Valley Conference to defeat William Jewell 7-0 in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday.
 
The 18
th ranked Panthers improved to 7-4 and 1-1 in the GLVC, while the Cardinals dropped to 3-10 and 0-2 in the league.
 
Drury took a 1-0 lead after winning all three doubles matches. 
Nico Hadeler and 
Marlon Wilken edged Culter Sanders and Max Wheeler 7-6 to close out the sweep after the Panthers won the other two doubles matches by 6-1 scores.
 
Hadeler won his singles match 6-1, 6-0 in Drury's lead singles position, and 
Augustin Diot improved to 7-1 on the season with a 6-2, 6-3 playing in the Panthers' number two slot. 
Marlon Wilken earned a 6-3, 6-1 as Drury's number four in singles to move to 7-3 on the year. None of Drury's six players dropped a set as they won each round.  
 
Drury continues the road trip on Saturday when they play at Rockhurst for an 11 am start in Kansas City, Missouri.
