SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury Panthers bounced back from a Friday loss to defeat Missouri 5-2 on Sunday at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
 
Drury, ranked 24^th in NCAA-II, fell behind 1-0 after Missouri Valley won two of the three doubles matches.
 
However, the Panthers took over in singles play, winning five of six match-ups. Marlon Wilken, playing in Drury's number one position, edged Yaroslav Sharyy 7-6, 6-4. Lukas Stierling, Luis Dobelmann, Mark Drozdetckii, and Jip De Buck all won in straight sets as the Panthers clinched the win.
 
Drury improved to 1-1, while the Vikings dropped to 2-3.
 
Drury is back at home on Friday when they host Maryville in a non-conference match at 8 pm on the indoor courts of the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
