ST. CHARLES, Mo.— The Drury Panthers finished sixth in a 14-team field at the Lindenwood Invitational tournament at the Missouri Bluffs in St. Charles, Missouri, on Tuesday.
Drury was 51-over-par as a team shooting 903. Missouri S&T won the tournament posting a 32-over-par score to win by three shots over host Lindenwood. Indian Hills Community College finished third at 39-over par.
Chase Gafner finished tied for the eighth for the Panthers in the field of 84 golfers as he shot Drury's best round on Tuesday with a two-over-par 74 to finish at nine-over for the tournament.
Tony Brandt tied for 15
th and was 12-over-par, while
Walker Tynes was 15-over-par and tied for 15
th.
Hunter Jowers finished 21-over-par and tied for 44
th and
Tryn Titus tied for 48
th at 23-over-par.
Will Hocker from Webster won the tournament with a one-over-par 214.
Drury returns to action on March 28-29 in the Northern Star Intercollegiate Conference Invitational held at the Adams Point Country Club in Blue Springs, Missouri.
