CABOT, Ark.— Drury junior
Shehna Akbary won the tournament championship, and the Panthers finished second as a team at the Natural State Classic hosted by Harding at the Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot, Arkansas on Tuesday.
Akbary, in her first year at Drury after transferring from Arkansas-Monticello, shot an even-par 72 on Tuesday and finished at +2 in the tournament to win the event by one shot over Kodie Winnings of Harding.

th ranked Central Missouri won the tournament shooting a +39, 615. The Panthers finished 11 shots behind in second, while Southern Nazarene finished third in the 10-team field, shooting 631.
All five Drury players shot a lower score on Tuesday than in Monday's first round.
Carmen Fletcher tied for 15
th place, shooting 158 (+14), while
Isabelle Thrall finished tied for 20th, posting a +16, 160.
Abby Howard shot an 18-over-par 162 to finish tied for 24
th, and
Jacie Pattengill was 12 shots better than her Monday round to tie for 34
th to finish with a +30, 168.
Akbary's tournament win is Drury's second individual title this year.
Isabelle Thrall won the Dan Salisbury Open in Springfield, Ill., on Sept. 6.
Drury returns to the course March 12-14 at the Emerald Coast Collegiate Classic hosted by Missouri-St. Louis in Destin, Florida.
