LIBERTY, Mo.— Drury started their two-match road trip with a 6-1 win at William Jewell on Friday in Liberty, Missouri.
 
The Panthers went to 9-3 and 2-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while Cardinals fell to 8-14 and 0-2 in the league.
 
Drury took a 1-0 lead winning two of the three doubles matches. William Jewell won the number three doubles match, and Drury evened the doubles competition with a win from Sylvain Garin-Michaud and Marlon Wilken. The Panthers clinched the point with a 6-4 win from Mark Drozdetskii and Yaroslav Sharyy over Ugnius Bickauskis and Gage Foltz.
 
Drury then won five of the six singles matches. Sylvain Garin-Michaud, playing his first match since March 11, returned for a 6-7, 6-4, 6-1 win against 41^st ranked Ugnius Bickauskis in the number one singles match-up. Yaroslav Sharyy, ranked 38^th nationally, improved to 10-1 with a 6-3, 6-3 win against Max Quennery and Marlon Wilken won his fifth straight match with a 6-1, 6-2 win. Louka Queguiner and Mark Drozdetskii also picked up wins for the Panthers.
 
The Panthers continue the road trip tomorrow with a match at Rockhurst starting at 2 pm in Kansas City, Missouri.
