ROMEOVILLE, Ill.– Drury ended the cross country season with a 20
th place finish at the NCAA-II Midwest Regional Championships in Romeoville, Illinois, on Saturday.
The Panthers finished with 581 points in the 27-team field. Grand Valley State won the regional title with 20 points, while Lewis was second with 64 points and Cedarville was third with 146.
Josie Diffendaffer led Drury and finished 53
rd in a field of 195 runners. The junior from Burthoud, Colorado, posted a time of 22:52.21 in the six-kilometer race.
Jasmyn Douglas was 89
th with a time of 23:33.06 and
Morgan Miller came in 143
rd (24:34.58).
Georgi Carolus was one spot behind in 144
th, crossing the line in 24:35.81, while
Ashley Sexton finished 152
nd (24:58.44).
Kate Hull had a time of 26:30.37 and was 177
th.
Kiley Lauren from Grand Valley State won the individual regional championship with a time of 20:57.78.
