PITTSBURG, Kan.— Drury opened the 2024-25 indoor track & field season on Saturday at the Crimson & Gold Invitational, hosted by Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Kan.
Women's Highlights
- Abby Rochelle set a program record in the 600 meter dash. The freshman from West Fork, Arkansas, was 17th among 26 runners, with a time of 1:36.40. She broke Drury's record, which has stood since 2011, by nearly eight seconds
- Lauren Coleman, a freshman from Mustang, Oklahoma, returned to finish 6th out of 67 runners in the 200 meter dash. Her time of 25.22 is the second-best time in program history
- Coleman also finished 16th in a field of 95 in the 60 meter dash. Her time of 7.75 is the third-best time in team history
Men's Highlights
- Nolan Moeller came in 11th among 60 runners in the mile. The junior from Ozark ran a time of 4:17.67, the fifth-best time in team history
- Ethan Barr was 10th in the triple jump and posted a best jump of 12.98 meters, the third-best mark ever at Drury
- Mason St. Clair was 11th in the triple jump. His mark if 12.97 meters ranks fourth in program history
