SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— 13th ranked Drury cruised to a 7-0 sweep of Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
 
The Panthers improved to 9-2, while the Tritons dropped to 5-5.
 
Drury took a 1-0 lead in the match, winning all three doubles matches. Sylvain Garin-Michaud and Chuy Gonzalez capped doubles play with a 7-5 win over Juan Vigil and Raphael Kerndl.
 
The Panthers swept all six singles matches on their way to their way to their first shutout win of the year. Yaroslav Sharyy, ranked 23rd nationally in NCAA-II, stayed unbeaten during the spring season with a 6-2, 6-2 win in the number one position over Jose Mayorga. Marlon Wilken also stayed perfect in the spring season with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Juan Vigil.
 
Matthieu Gachon and Chuy Gonzalez both won in three sets. Gachon won a third set tie-breaker, 10-8, over Joshua Mackey, and Gonzalez won his third set tie-breaker 10-6, against Marcos Navas.
 
Drury returns to the road on Sunday when they travel to Harding for a 1 pm match in Searcy, Arkansas.
