SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— 20^th ranked Drury swept William Jewell 7-0 on Saturday at Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
 
The Panthers improved to 11-3 and 2-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while the Cardinals fell to 4-13 and 0-2 in the GLVC.
 
Drury took a 1-0 lead after winning all three doubles matches. Sylvain Garin-Michaud and Chuy Gonzalez won for the third time in four matches with a 6-1 win over Julien Lafranchise and Gage Foltz.
 
The Panthers won all six singles matches to complete the sweep. The number one singles match featured two nationally ranked opponents, and Drury's Yaroslav Sharry, ranked 20^th nationally, got past 34^th ranked Ugnius Bickauskis, 6-1, 5-7, 1-0 (10-6). Sharry improved to 11-0 this spring. Marlon Wilken, ranked 63^rd nationally, improved to 9-1 with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Julien Lafranchise.
 
Drury returns to action on Friday when they host William Woods at noon at the Cooper Tennis Complex.
