TOPEKA, Kan.— Drury indoor track & field competed for the first time since Dec. 7 as they resumed their schedule in the Rust Buster, hosted by Washburn in Topeka, Kan., on Friday.
Women's Highlights
- Lauren Coleman placed in two events. The freshman from Mustang, Okla., reached the finals in the 60 meter dash and was sixth with a time of 7.73, matching the second-best time in Drury history
- Coleman came back in the 200 meter dash and finished eighth (25.63)
- Josie Diffendaffer was seventh in the mile. A junior from Berthoud, Colo., Diffendaffer's time of 5:18.04 ranks fifth all-time at Drury
Men's Highlights
- Kyle Keltner was sixth in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:56.76, a time that ranks seventh in program history
- Nolan Moeller was fourth in the mile with a time of 4:22.83 and Gabe Bauer was fifth with a nearly identical time of 4:22.85
- Ethan Barr came in 10th in the triple jump as the freshman posted a mark of 12.83 meters / 42'02.25"
Drury track & field teams compete again on Jan. 24 in the Rumble in the Jungle Invitational, hosted by Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Kan.
