INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced its men's soccer Athletic Solutions Player of the Week on Oct. 13. Drury's
Carson Morgan was named the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week for his performances against Lewis and Upper Iowa.
A senior from Springfield, Mo., Morgan led the Panthers to a six-point weekend, posting wins over Lewis (2-1) and Upper Iowa (4-2). Morgan contributed to both of Drury's goals against Lewis, scoring off a cross and assisting freshman
Dane Prost. He scored again against Upper Iowa off a corner kick from
Samuel Tagg. The defender also recorded five shots, with two on target, across both games.
The weekly honor is the first in Morgan's career and is the first Panther to win the award since
Joe Loughnane earned it last season.
Drury men's soccer heads back on the road for a GLVC matchup against Quincy on Friday, Oct. 17. Kickoff in Quincy, Ill., is set for 7:30 p.m.
