SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury battled for a point in doubles and carried momentum to a 6-1 win over Quincy on Friday at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
The Panthers improved to 11-3 and 1-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and dropped the Hawks to 12-8 and 1-2 in the GLVC.

- The doubles point came down to the number two match-up as Drury's Oscar Reis and Alejandro Esquivel won a tie-breaker over Gianni La Mantia and Rodrigo Trevino, 7-6 (8-6)
- Mark Drozdetskii gave Drury a 2-0 lead with a 6-2, 6-1 win in the number five singles match
- Yaroslav Sharyy, ranked 23rd nationally in singles, put the Panthers up 3-0 and improved to 14-0 this spring, with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Inigo Villacampa
- Lukas Rieber clinched the match for Drury with a 6-4, 6-2 win in the number four singles match-up
