ALLENDALE, Mich.— Drury lost a heartbreaker in the opening round of the NCAA-II Tournament in a 4-3 loss to Rockhurst on Friday in Allendale, Michigan.
 
The Panthers, seeded fifth in the Midwest Region, ended their season with a 13-6 record. Rockhurst advances to second round with a 15-6 mark and will face number one seed Grand Valley State on Saturday.
 
Highlights

• Drury took a 1-0 lead after winning two of the three doubles matches
• Yaroslav Sharyy and Lukas Rieber defeated 44^th ranked Louis Keiner and Josef Truhlar, 6-4, to clinch the doubles point
• Lukas Rieber rolled to a 6-4, 6-1 win
• Oscar Reis won his singles match in the number six spot in the match, 6-3, 6-2, to give Drury a 3-2 lead in the match
• The Hawks rallied as Semyon Tsyrenov, ranked 16^th nationally, handed Yaroslav Sharyy his second loss of the year with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 win
• Creed Skinner won the deciding point and rallied from losing the first set 6-1 to win his match, 1-6, 6-4, 7-5

 
The Panthers were in the NCAA-II Tournament for the 25^th time in program history and reached the national field for the third year in a row.
