ALLENDALE, Mich.— Drury moved up two spots on the final day of the NCAA-II East Regional Championship to finish 15
th at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale, Michigan.
The Panthers shot their best round as a team on Wednesday, posting a +33 on Wednesday and moved in front of Ohio Dominican and Illinois Springfield. Drury ended the tournament at 107-over par to finish 15
th in the 18 team field.
10
th ranked Grand Valley State won the regional championship, finishing 16-over par. The Lakers won by 11 shots as fifth-ranked Findlay finished second at 27-over par. Ferris State (+59) came in third, while Indianapolis (+62) was fourth and Missouri-St. Louis (+65) was fifth. Those top five teams advanced to the NCAA-II National Championship May 13-17 in Boulder Creek, Nevada.
Taryn Overstreet led the Panthers and finished 52
nd, ending the tournament at 25-over par. The senior was playing in her second NCAA-II regional after qualifying as an individual last year. Overstreet shot a +7, 79 on Wednesday.
Grace Stafford ended the tournament in 57
th, shooting 26-over par.
Isabelle Thrall came in 61
st at +27, and
Jade Carter shot 29-over par to finish 69
th.
Avery Chappell entered the third round as a substitute and shot a 13-over par 85.
Ashleigh Duflo from Findlay won regional medalist honors, finishing at even par, winning the event by one shot.
Drury was playing in their first NCAA-II Regional since 2015 and this season marks their 11
th regional appearance in the team's 21-year history. Panther head coach
Faith Hopkins completed her second season as head coach in 2024-25.
