Four Panthers Earn CSC Academic All-District At-Large Honors

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2025 Academic All-District Men's and Women's At-Large teams on June 17. Drury had four players earn the honor.

The 2025 Academic All-District Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. 

Will Kuster received the honor for the first time. The senior from Jefferson City, Mo. earned National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Academic All-American honors for the 2024-25 season. He was also named All-GLVC second team for the 165-weight class. Kuster finished the season 30-8 and was ranked as high as 10th in the nation for the 165-weight class. He finished fourth in the NCAA super regionals and finished second in the nation in tech falls (16). 

Tristan Staat, a redshirt freshman from Cedar Hill, Mo., also earned the honor for the first time. Staat received NWCA Academic All-American recognition for the 2024–25 season and posted a 15-14 record in the 184-pound weight class. He finished fifth at the NCAA Super Regionals.

Drury men's golf, Alex Wiseman, makes the team for the first time. Wiseman played 14 rounds during the 2024-25 season, averaging 76.36 per round. The junior from Williamsville, Mo. scored a season-best 70 and 2-under par at the McKendree Dual Gender Invitational, where he finished 17th for his season-best. 

Isabelle Thrall received the honor for the first time. The senior from Wentzville, Mo. was named to the All-GLVC women's golf team. Thrall competed in 32 rounds, averaging 78.84 per round in the 2024-25 season. Her season best came from the GLVC Championships, where she finished sixth. Thrall's best round came from the UMSL Spring Invitational, scoring a 72, one stroke over par.
