TOPEKA, Kan. – The Drury men's and women's track and field programs opened competition following winter break at the WU Rust Buster, hosted by Washburn, on Friday, Jan. 16. 
 
On the men's side, Kyle Kelter recorded the top finish for the Panthers, placing fourth in the 800 meters with a time of 1:55.43, ranking 37th nationally. Luca Scholes-Robertson finished sixth in the mile (4:16.73), ranking 29th nationally.
 
Ethan Barr set a new program record in the long jump with a distance of 6.55 meters. Rylan Malloy improved his school record in the 200 meters by .01 seconds (50.03). 
 
On the women's side, Cera Eckenroth posted the highest finish, placing third in the mile (5:08.54), which ranks 30th nationally. Alya Diable finished fifth in the 400 meters (1:00.22), and Delaney Riekert placed sixth in the 200 meters (25.41). 
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• Malloy now ranks second in the 200 meters (22.56). 
• Topi Alahuhta and Ethan Haynes placed 11th (4:18.77) and 15th (4:21.97), respectively.
• Keltner's fourth-place finish in the 800 meters (1:55.43) ranks fourth all-time. 
• Riekert's 11th-place finish in the 60 meters (7.81) ranks fourth all-time.
• Lauren Coleman's 60-meter time (7.94) ranks fifth all-time.
• Eckenroth's time in the mile (5:08.54) ranks tied for fourth all-time. 
• Braden Baker finished eighth in the triple jump (13.75m) and ranks second all-time.
• Gunner Bradsaw placed seventh in the high jump with a distance of 1.99 meters.
• Taylor Green finished ninth in the triple jump with a distance of 10.03 meters. 
• Keltner, Scholes-Robertson, Eckenroth, Baker, Alahuhta, Haynes, and Georgi Carolus all recorded nationally ranked times.
