BOLIVAR, Mo. – Drury track and field qualified for seven more finals on Day Two of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Outdoor Championships on Friday.
Caden Green opened the running events for the Panthers in the 110-meter hurdles. Green qualified for the finals on Saturday, finishing fifth with a career-best 15.04, ranking second in program history.
Lauren Coleman secured a finals spot in the 100 meters, placing seventh in 11.96.
In the women's 800 meters, Rachel Omoruyi qualified for her second final on Saturday, placing sixth in 2:15.58, ranking second in school history.
On the men's side, Arturo Martinez and Nolan Moeller finished first and second in 1:52.57 and 1:52.96, respectively, and will race in the finals on Saturday.
Alya Diable qualified for the finals in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing fifth in 1:03.50. Qwentin Luginbill also qualified on the men's side, placing third with a new career-best of 53.57.
Santiago Nunez closed the day with a fourth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:09.15, marking a new career-best and a program record.
On the field, Anna Talbot earned All-GLVC honors, finishing third with a new career-best mark of 5.80 meters.
At the end of Day Two, the men's squad sits fifth with 13 team points, while the women are in seventh place with nine team points.
