BOLIVAR, Mo. – Drury track and field men's and women's programs both placed eighth at the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Outdoor Championships and earned six All-GLVC honors Saturday, May 3.
Field events opened the day for the Panthers, starting with the men's triple jump. Braden Baker qualified for finals and finished eighth with a jump of 14.23 meters. Taylor Green also advanced to the women's triple jump finals, finishing ninth with a jump of 11.09 meters.
In the women's 1,500-meter finals, Cera Eckenroth earned All-GLVC honors, finishing third in 4:37.94. Rachel Omoruyi placed sixth in 4:40.22. On the men's side, Luca Scholes-Robertson finished fourth in 3:49.77, a career-best time that ranks second in program history.
Caden Green placed sixth in the 110-meter hurdles finals in 15.28.
In the 100-meter finals, Lauren Coleman finished eighth in 12.00. Coleman later placed sixth in the 200-meter finals in 24.95.
Nolan Moeller earned All-GLVC honors in the 800-meter finals, finishing third in 1:50.79. Arturo Martinez placed fifth in 1:51.09, a career-best time. Rachel Omoruyi also competed in the 800-meter finals, placing seventh in 2:17.05.
In the 400-meter hurdles finals, Alya Diable earned All-GLVC honors, placing third in 1:01.95, improving her own school record. On the men's side, Qwentin Luginbill finished sixth with another career-best time of 54.36.
Cera Eckenroth added another All-GLVC performance with a second-place finish in the 5,000 meters, clocking in at 17:12.35. Josie Diffendaffer placed ninth in 17:44.36.
In the men's 5,000-meter finals, Topi Alahuhta and Ethan Haynes finished eighth (14:57.87) and ninth (15:05.20), respectively. Haynes' time ranks ninth in program history.
In relay action, the men's 4x400-meter relay team of Qwentin Luginbill, Tion McLeish, Arturo Martinez, and Rylan Malloy placed seventh in 3:17.45, setting a school record. The women's squad of Alya Diable, Taylor Hopper, Liberty Cragun, and Lauren Coleman placed eighth in 4:00.41.
Drury's women scored 42 points, while the men scored 39.5 points, with both teams placing eighth. The top-three finishers in all finals events were named All-Conference honorees, including: Cera Eckenroth (1,500 and 5,000 meters), Topi Alahuhta (10,000 meters), Anna Talbot (Long Jump), Nolan Moeller (800 meters), and Alya Diable (400-meter hurdles).

Following the GLVC Outdoor Championships, some of the Panthers will compete at Pittsburg State Last Chance Invitational on May 9-10 to pursue NCAA national qualifying marks.
