SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Drury men's and women's track and field teams compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Indoor Championship on Feb. 28–March 1 in Indianapolis.

The Panthers enter the postseason following a strong indoor campaign. The men's program is coming off its best conference indoor finish in program history after placing fourth last season. Gabe Bauer led the Panthers last season with his first-place finish in the 5,000 meters.

On the women's side, Drury placed 11th at last year's championship. Lauren Coleman recorded the women's highest finish, placing fourth in the 60 meters.

This season has featured several record-breaking performances. The men's team has set six new program records and added 28 marks to the all-time top 10 list. The women have broken two program records alongside 19 top 10 marks.

Drury will also look to secure qualifying marks for the NCAA Indoor National Championship. To qualify, an individual must have a top 18 mark nationally, while relays must rank in the top 12.

EVENTS TO WATCH

  • Women's 200m – Three new top 10 times this season, Delaney Riekert closing in on the school record.
  • Women's 400m – Riekert and Alya Diable set the program's top two times this season.
  • Women's Long Jump – Anna Talbot broke a school record that stood for four seasons.
