SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The College Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) announced its Scholar Academic All-America awards for the fall 2025 season. Drury Triathlon was named a Scholar Academic All-America Team, and five triathletes earned individual honors. 
 
CTCA Scholar Academic All-America recognition is awarded to the top 21 varsity finishers in each division at the national championship who maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher during the fall semester. Honorable mention recognition is given to varsity athletes who compete at the national championship but do not finish in the top 21 while maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher.
 
As a team, Drury earned Scholar Academic All-America honors with a 3.70 team GPA during the fall. Four Panthers were named Scholar Academic All-Americans for the second time, while one earned honorable mention for the first time. 
 
Springfield native Alexis Workman earned Scholar Academic All-America recognition after leading the Panthers at the NCAA Triathlon National Championship, placing seventh in Division II in 1:06:34 to earn first-team All-America honors.
 
Kristina Vestman also earned Scholar Academic All-America honors. The Härnösand, Sweden, native finished 13th in Division II in 1:08:55 and was named second-team All-America. 
 
Tarryn Brumley earned Scholar Academic All-America honors after placing 15th in Division II in 1:10:24 and receiving honorable mention All-America recognition. 
 
Mayumi Shinozuka was the fourth Panther to earn Scholar Academic All-America honors. Shinozuka finished 18th in Division II in 1:10:49 and also received honorable mention All-America honors.
 
Tylor Brino-Dean earned Scholar Academic All-America honorable mention for the first time in her career. Brino-Dean placed 38th in Division II in 1:16:26 at the NCAA National Championship.
