Panthers Place Eighth at GLVC Indoor Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – The Drury men's and women's track and field teams each placed eighth at the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Indoor Championships on Sunday, March 1, in Indianapolis. 
 
Cera Eckenroth led the Panthers, placing second in the mile with a time of 5:05.36, finishing less than one second behind first. Eckenroth also posted a 10:08.16 in the 3,000 meters to place fourth. 
 
Delaney Riekert finished sixth in the 200-meter finals in 25.42 and seventh in the 400-meter finals in 58.50. 
 
On the men's side, Topi Alahuhta had the highest finish for the Panthers on day two, placing fifth in the 3,000 meters in 8:36.07. Ethan Haynes placed sixth in 8:36.07, and Gabriel Bauer finished eighth in 8:38.09.
 
Kyle Keltner added a sixth-place finish in the mile in 4:21.48.
