INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) has announced its 2026 men's and women's all-conference selections on April 30. Drury had four selections, two men and two women.
On the men's side, Drury had
Matthieu Gachon and
Chuy Gonzalez selected.
Leana Chanove and
Naz Yaver represent Drury on the women's side.
Gachon, the junior from France, earned all-conference honors for the second consecutive season. This season, Gachon is 12-3 in singles play, primarily from the second line. Gachon finished the regular season winning his last three singles matches.
Chuy Gonzalez was named to the all-conference team for the first time in his career. This season, Gonzalez was 10-2 in singles during the regular season, including 2-0 against ranked opponents. Gonzalez finished the regular season winning his last seven singles matches. In doubles, Gonzalez was 8-6, playing 12 of his matches with
Tristan Stock.
For the third consecutive season,
Leana Chanove was named to the all-GLVC team. This season, Chanove was 10-5 from the top singles line, moving to 15th all-time in Drury program history for most career singles wins, now at 48. In doubles, Chanove was 9-4 in doubles, 8-3 with
Franca Piaggi.
Drury freshman,
Naz Yaver, posted a 12-4 record in her first season. Yaver played both the second and third line. On the second line, she was 3-0, and on the third, 9-4. Yaver was 7-8 in doubles play this season, all in the first line. She played with
Antanina Novik (6-8) and
Franca Piaggi (1-0) throughout the season.
The GLVC postseason starts May 1 as the women's team takes on Maryville. The Drury men's team has a first-round bye and will face the winner of Quincy and Maryville on May 2 at Center Grove High School in Indianapolis.
