SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury women's soccer opens Great Lakes Valley Conference play Saturday, Sept. 5, at Truman State in search of its first win of the season.
 
The Panthers are coming off a 3-0 loss at No. 23 Washburn on Wednesday. Drury held strong in the first half but conceded three goals in a three-minute span early in the second half.
 
The match will stream on GLVCSN. Single-game passes are $15, monthly passes $32, and annual passes $145. Drury students can receive 10 percent off any pass using their university email and code GLVC@EDU27.
 
SERIES HISTORY VS. TRUMAN STATE

• Truman State leads the all-time series 11-5-5.
• Under head coach Justin Olson, Drury is 3-1-2 against the Bulldogs.
• The Panthers are unbeaten in their last five meetings with Truman State.
• In 2025, Drury earned a 1-1 draw to extend its unbeaten streak to six, which reached 13 games last season.
• Kadence Krempges scored Drury's lone goal in last year's matchup on an assist from Leah McDonald.

 
STORYLINES

• Saturday marks the start of GLVC play. Drury is 4-0-2 in league openers under Olson.
• Over the last two seasons, the Panthers have lost just two conference games while recording seven draws.
• Drury is winless through three matches for the first time since 2019, when the team did not earn a victory until its sixth game. This is only the seventh time in program history the Panthers have opened 0-3.
• The winless streak dates back to last season's GLVC Semifinals, which is now six games.
• Drury has scored just one goal through three matches after graduating its top two scorers from last season. One goal in three games is the program's lowest output since 2002, when the Panthers were held scoreless through three contests.
• Drury is eight wins away from reaching 300 in program history.
• Goalkeeper Katy Fitzler continues to climb the program record book. She ranks first in career goals-against average (.639) and save percentage (.837), and is third in shutouts (24) and seventh in saves (154).
• Truman State is coming off its largest margin of victory since 2001, an 8-0 win over Harris-Stowe. Drury is coming off its largest margin of defeat since Feb. 28, 2021, a 3-0 loss to Rockhurst.
• Truman State has had nine different goal scorers this season. Madison Blomenkamp leads the team with four points on one goal and two assists.
• The Bulldogs have used two goalkeepers. Mikayla Thomas has not allowed a goal this season, while Siman Loethen has started games and allowed five.
