ROLLA –The Drury volleyball Panthers had a six game winning streak snapped by Missouri S&T who posted a 3-1 victory over DU here on Tuesday.

Drury moves to 13-3 overall and 5-2 in the GLVC and Missouri S&T improved to 13-5 overall and 5-2 in the GLVC.  S&T claimed the match by scores of 25-18, 18-25, 25-22 and 25-19.


S&T hit .205 on the night with 53 kills and nine blocks with Drury finishing with a .104 hitting percentage, 49 kills and eight blocks.  Laynie Timmons led DU with 10 kills and McKenna Poynter led DU with 27 digs.  Chloe Foster hit .368 with eight kills and just one error in 19 attacks while adding two block solos and four block assists.  Brooke Antenen added 41 assists.

For the Miners Krista Haslag had 15 kills, hit .481 and posted five block assists.  Gracey Moon posted 13 kills, hit .357 and had three block assists.

The Drury Volleyball Panthers, second in the GLVC West, will return to GLVC road action on Friday when they will be at GLVC West Division leader Rockhurst for match starting at 7 p.m.
