SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Drury rallied in the second half of their dual against Baker but fell short 26-18 to the Wildcats on Wednesday at Weiser Gym in Springfield.
Baker won the first four matches before the Panthers got on the board with a with a win at 157 pounds by
Ben Stahlman. The sophomore from House Springs, Missouri pinned Danny Neeley in 3:38.
Grant Taylor won the next match-up at 165 pounds with a 6-0 win over Tyler Price.
Drury also got win from 184-pounder
John Oss, and heavyweight
Ben Melton ended the dual with a win by fall in just 89 seconds over Lahmad Evans.
Baker raised their record to 5-5 while the Panthers dropped to 1-9.
Drury returns to action on Saturday with Great Lakes Valley Conference duals in Kirksville, Missouri. The Panthers take on 3rd ranked Wisconsin-Parkside at 1 p.m., then face host Truman State at 3 p.m.
