DU Men’s Tennis Collects 7-2 Win Over Harding

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Drury men's tennis team posted a 7-2 victory over Harding Friday at Cooper Tennis Complex.

The 13th-ranked Panthers (3-0), claimed two of the three doubles points, with an 8-6 decision at the No. 2 spot, by Nico Hadeler and Lukas Stierling.  At No. 3, Sacha Mourier and Augustin Diot defeated Adria Abella and Pablo Trevino by an 8-4 score.  Harding proved too much at the top of the doubles lineup with an 8-6 win.
 
With the loss, Harding falls to 3-2 on the year.

Hadeler played his second match of the season at the No. 1 spot, and claimed a 6-3, 6-2 win over Carlos Crisotomo.  Gregor Kokalj shut down Alejandro Sendra in dominant fashion at No. 3, by scores of 6-0, 6-2.  A pair of DU seniors, Sebastien Amato and Mourier, won their respective matches.  Amato by a 6-4, 6-4 mark at No. 2, and Mourier won 6-3, 6-0 at the No. 6 spot.   Diot posted a 6-3, 7-6 win for DU at No. 4 singles, to remain unbeaten on the year 3-0.

Morgan Salvan, won 7-6, 6-1 over Stierling at No. 5 for the Bisons lone win. 

On February 11th, Drury will play host to Nebraska-Kearney, at Cooper Tennis Complex.  First serve is scheduled for 10:15 a.m.
