The Drury men's tennis team posted a convincing 7-2 victory over Lindenwood Sunday at Cooper Tennis Complex.
The 13th-ranked Panthers (6-0), claimed all three doubles points. Sebastien Amato and Gregor Kokalj earned a 9-7 win. Nico Hadeler and Lukas Stierling downed Antoine Barraud and Hector Horcajada by an 8-4 score. Augustin Diot and Sacha Mourier also captured an 8-4 win over Theo Butaeye and Michele Gaspari.
With the loss, Lindenwood fell to 3-3 on the year.
Hadeler played his fourth match of the season in Drury's lead singles position and claimed a 6-2, 6-1 win over Jonas Bengbom. Kokalj shut down Horcajada 6-3, 6-1 and Diot won by a 6-4, 7-5.
On February 23rd, Drury will play host to Newman University at Cooper Tennis Complex. First serve is scheduled for 8 p.m.
